Commercial Gas Engineer

MEL are seeking a qualified and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to carry out installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems and appliances across a range of sites. The role requires a strong focus on safety, compliance, and high-quality workmanship while delivering excellent service to clients.

Essential Requirements:

·  Carry out the Installation, Service and Maintenance on a range of Domestic and Commercial Gas appliances across a wide range of our customers sites.

·  Strong fault finding knowledge on a range of domestic and commercial Gas appliances

·  Carry out annual Gas Safety inspections and issue the relevant Gas Safety paperwork

·  Good understanding of the industry standards and ensure all works are in line with the Gas Safety regulations

·  Successful completion of job and service reports and safety documentation

·  Complete job and task specific Method and Risk Assessments

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

·  Relevant Domestic and Commercial Gas qualifications e.g CCN1, COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPC1, ICPN1)

·  LPG and Catering experience is desirable but not essential.

·  IPAF, PASMA or other relevant site certifications

·  First Aid at Work
