ENVIRONMENT AGENCY

M.E.L. are fortunate to work in some of the most beautiful and inspiring surroundings in the country for the Environment Agency. Including each and every lock site on the River Thames and various southern coastal locations. We provide the Environment agency with a multitude of services including: 


  • Mains & submain distribution upgrades 

  • Energy saving lighting installations 

  • Marina installations 

  • Flood defense projects 

  • Electrical compliance

ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR AND MAIDENHEAD

M.E.L. have carried out a portfolio of works for the Royal Borough over the years which has included schools, leisure facilities and parks departments, ranging from major refurbishments to general maintenance and emergency call outs. Our most recent project involved both our electrical and civil engineers to work together. We were required to install concrete bases for a number of suitably sized kiosks to contain electrical distribution equipment adjacent to the arches in Windsor. 
We provided a full turn key service including design, installation, liasing and managing subcontractors (i.e Scottish and Southern), testing and commissioning complete with the production of certification/ operating and maintenance manuals.

SENSIENT FLAVOURS

M.E.L. provide a range of electrical services and project works to Sensient Flavors including: 


  • The design, manufacture and replacement of the 2000Amp main switch panel

  • The installation of associated 630mm XLPE/SWA/LSF Cabling 

  • The design, manufacture and installation of Local Control Panels associated with production process

LONDON UNDERGROUND

M.E.L. carried out BMS installations at both Victoria and Tottenham Court Underground Stations. These projects included:

NICHOLSON MCLAREN

M.E.L. are proud to supply Nicholson Mclaren Engines with a number of services at their Finchampstead site including: 

  • The design, manufacture and installation of the main 1500Amp main switch panel 

  •  The installation of a 630Amp submain supply to the race engine dyno rig building 

  • Small power installations 

  • Led lighting installations 

  • Network cabling installations

THE LICENSED VICTUALLERS' SCHOOL, ASCOT

M.E.L. provide LVS Ascot with compliance solutions and carry out project work also. Recent projects include an LED lighting installation in the "Street" area and the replacement of distribution equipment.
