SUPPORTING LOCAL CHARITIES AND THE COMMUNITY

Maidenhead Electrical is committed to supporting the local community by:

  • Providing apprenticeships and work placements

  • Training and employment opportunities

  • Working with Apprenticeship Training Agencies

  • Charity Fundraising events

  • Operating in a fair and ethical manner

  • Incorporating green technologies and providing sustainable building design

  • Dedication to carbon reduction supply chain

On the 17th September the team completed the London to Brighton 54 mile bike ride for Cancer Research. The event raised a total of £4,427.30, quadrupling our target amount.

After appearing in the Maidenhead Advertiser, further donations came flooding in from the local community including The Shanly Foundation and Alain Roux of the Waterside Inn. We were absolutely delighted to receive acknowledgement from the former UK Prime Minister.

Phil Collins, M.E.L. Electrical supervisor at Eton College commented:

“It was a real team effort, we all feel really proud to have contributed towards helping such an important charity save lives. A massive thank you to our local community for their support and helping us make a difference”

ACTION FOR CHILDREN

Golf Fundraiser

M.E.L. recently took part in a fundraising event at the Grove Golf Course in Herts to raise money for Action for Children. Despite the household names on the leader board, M.E.L. held its own but most importantly a lot of money was raised.
